Interstellar Dance Party: A Fundraiser for the Center for Afrofuturist Studies

The Center for Afrofuturist Studies presents: a night of dancing your heart away. In celebration of the launching of CAS, a new interdisciplinary arts residency program in partnership with Public Space One, we're throwing a dance party!
Proceeds from the night will allow us to fund a year of brand-new programming in 2016, including artist residencies by well-known artists of color from around the country. The Center for Afrofuturist Studies will host youth workshops, public lectures, readings, and live performances. Help us launch this new program – all you have to do is dance!
Expect: a DJ, lush beats, dancing, and stars.
